With nearly a dozen languages between them, our comedic trio will take you on a riotous journey across cultures and the hilarious pitfalls of being "fluent-ish."From mispronounced words that change everything, to navigating cultural nuances with Duolingo sentences, this is a show for anyone who's ever accidentally insulted someone's grandmother (don't worry, they've done it too!).
Your Fluent-ish Comics
Ariane (@polyglomedy) is a Brussels-based language nerd with a dream of doing comedy in every single EU language. So far she’s at 9 (and counting!) and has proven that even German can be funny.
Erica Jean (@ericahatesfun) is an unlikely American polyglot who spent 15 years living in various countries across Asia realizing she needed to know where the bus was going. She has performed in 7 languages in 25 countries where audiences describe her witty and quirky comedy as “a breath of fresh air.”
Magda (@magdulicious) is your host, a Romanian powerhouse of a comedian based in Geneva whose multilingual comedy has been showcased all over Europe and whose witticisms have been featured on the Tonight Show where Jerry Seinfeld called her "the future of comedy."

The show is in English, but you'll hear jokes drawing from Hungarian, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Thai, Indonesian and more! (And don't worry, even if you only speak one, you'll still be roaring with laughter!)
