Flowers from Floss with Jama Watts

11:00am-2:00pm

Students will be introduced to the basics of embroidery with d'Art Associate Artist Jama Watts! Learn basic embroidery stitches to create an embroidered floral bouquet with flowers of your own choosing. All supplies are included (floss, felt, hoop, needles & instructional handout)!

This workshop is part of our planned series in support of two of our Juried National Exhibitions in 2026. Flourish V and On Point! will be joining us at d'Art from April 25th-May 30th, 2026. Flourish V is an Annual Juried National Exhibit of Floral and Botanical Artworks, while On Point! is an Exhibit of Fine Art Embroidery from Across the Country. Plan to visit us during these two beautiful exhibitions and to look for more programming in support of their themes.
