Connect with nature in a new way through flower pressing! In this beginner workshop, artist, Bri Rossi, will guide you through her tips and tricks for creating beautiful pressed plants. Each workshop attendee will receive a handmade reusable flower press and we’ll fill it up with plants! We’ll cover how to use a flower press, what plants press best, where to find plants and fun ideas for how to use the plants you preserve. If the weather permits we’ll take a short walk around the arboretum to identify plants that press well.Class size is limited, please pre-register online

About the Instructor: Bri Rossi is a Portland artist and maker and has been pressing and preserving plants for over four years. She created her online shop, Little Leaf Ink, to share her botanical watercolor and pressed flower art works. In 2022, she started teaching workshops to share her knowledge and love of crafting with nature. Her goal is to inspire others to notice the magical little details of plants while they spend time outside and incorporate those little joys into their homes.
