Meet several adoptable kittens currently in the care of Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) and engage in a meaningful yoga practice alongside them! Kittens are available for adoption at this event & 60% of proceeds will be donated to LAWS. $18 per person. Payment accepted via credit card, e-transfer, or cash. Payment information emailed to you upon registration. Limited spots available. We recommend booking ASAP.

Additional donations such as food, toys, laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper will be accepted by LAWS as well.
This is not about getting an Instagram-worthy image, but about connecting with kittens who are looking for a home and engaging in a spiritual, liberating practice.
The Indian tradition of yoga is grounded in the concept of unity - learning to live harmoniously & support a relationship between our soul and cosmic energy (Lazova, 2023). Cats are believed to be able to connect deeply and spiritually with humans, sometimes said to be protectors of the spiritual world.
