About this Event
Welcome to Flow & Sound: Embodying Joy
A yoga & sound bath experience.
In a world that often feels heavy, chaotic, and unjust, it is easy to forget that at our core, we are beings of joy and light. Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self (The Bhagavad Gita), and through this journey we are reminded that joy is not an external feeling to chase; it is something to uncover and embody.
This extended practice is an invitation to reclaim joy and nourish your mental wellbeing —through movement, playfulness, breath, and sound.
What to expect:
- mindful, all levels flow
- playful movement
- pranayama (breathwork) and meditation
- sound bath
Open to all. Beginners welcome, no previous experience needed.
A unique opportunity to begin each month balanced and refreshed.
We also acknowledge that joy is a right, one that is systematically stolen from many. We dedicate this month’s practice to those whose right to joy and freedom has been taken away. 15% of proceeds will be donated to Team Congo, who are fundraising to support children and displaced families in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, that is facing recent escalation of violence and one of the most devastating humanitarian crises of our time.
Flow & Sound is a recurring offering every first Saturday of the month. A yoga & sound bath experience designated to nourish your mental wellbeing. Each practice will centre on a theme that opens a connection to reclaiming and nourishing your wellbeing.
