About this Event
RESCHEDULED DUE TO HURRICANE MILTON
DATE TBD, ANTICIPATE LATE JANUARY 2025
A night of whiskey, war stories and camaraderie, honoring the sacrifices of America’s heroes and providing an evening of fellowship among those who share a common love of America, her heroes and great whiskey. Join us for exclusive tastings of America’s signature spirit from Bardstown Bourbon Company and Maker’s Mark, hear about their deep ties to the military and veteran community and listen as a Florida combat-wounded veteran shares his personal connection to the Florida National Cemetery and our monuments project.
Our keynote speaker will be US Army and US Navy veteran Aaron Hale. Aaron is a Navy cook turned Army demolitions expert who was severely injured while defusing a bomb in Iraq. Left without his hearing or his sight, Aaron founded his own line of gourmet candies, Extra Ordinary Delights, and has made a name for himself on the YouTube series “cooking without looking”. Aaron’s story is one of hope, humor, and inspiration.
Guest speakers will also include Rob Sketch, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Bardstown Bourbon Company and former US Army special operator, as well as Beth Buckner, the Director of Innovation at Maker’s Mark and mastermind behind the “heart release” showcasing the distillery’s passion for quality.
Sponsors will enjoy an exclusive VIP cocktail hour with our speakers and guests of honor, featuring cocktails and charcuterie provided by Kaleb Kilburn of Peerless Distillery.
Every attendee will receive an exclusive bottle of Maker's Mark Private Select, hand-selected for this event and never to be available to the public, custom event glassware, and more.
Lastly, every attendee will have the opportunity to purchase a 7-year single barrel rye hand-selected by Steve Nally, master distiller at Bardstown Bourbon Company.
