Join us the weekend of Oct. 18-19 for a Florida East Coast Extravaganza! We'll start off Saturday morning with a 2-Tank Drift Dive with Kyalami Dive Charters, a Night Dive at Blue Heron Bridge and another 2-Tank Drift Dive Sunday morning! With Florida's east coast Gulf Stream, this strong, warm, northward-flowing current originates in the Gulf of Mexico, moves through the Florida Straights and merges into the North Atlantic. This ecosystem supports many marine animals including pompano, sea turtles, sharks, rays, dolphins and many other animals - if you're lucky you may see a Sawtooth!
Drift Diving: 2-Tank Dives with Kyalami are both drift dives our of Jupiter, Florida, which means once you step off of the boat, you will be drifting with the current. The bottom is made up of many different types of reef structures including ledges, overhangs and other formations. This makes the visibility much clearer but also a more challenging dive. You must be Advanced and Nitrox for this trip.
Depth: Depth is around 60 to 90 feet. We highly recommend Nitrox and a Advanced and Nitrox certificaiton is required for this dive. You can obtain your Advanced and Nitrox certificaiton on this trip at a reduced price!
Gear: This trip only includes your spot with Kyalami. If you need to rent any other gear, please reach out to Adventure Outfitters.
Blue Heron Bridge Night Dive: World-renowned Blue Heron Bridge right off of Phil Foster Park in West Palm Beach, Florida, was chosen one of the best dive sites in the world by PADI magazine in 2013. Known for its wildlife and easy diving conditions, this shore dive is famous for photographers. Marine Life: On this shore dive, you will see a variety of small to medium-sized fish and marine life including: octopus, frog fish, eels, stargazers, rays, sea horses and many more.
Depth: The depth is relatively shallow with a max of 20 feet. Divers can expect a 45-minute to 2-hour dive time!
Dive Plan: Due to the proximity to the inlet, current can affect conditions, we will plan our dive around High Slack Tide or Low Slack Tide to ensure a safe, easy and comfortable dive plan.
Gear: Trip includes Divemaster, tank or air refill and dive flag/float. Adventure Outfitters offers gear rental packages for any trip! Schedule your gear needs with us to ensure fit and comfort.
About Phil Foster Park: Phil Foster Park is a protected 800-foot artificial reef located off of Singer Island and west of Ocean Mall. The dive site is separated into two different sections, a large bridge on the southwestern side of Phil Foster Park and a smaller bridge on the southeastern side.
Continue your diver education. Learn about the environment around you and give yourself the knowledge and tools to help defend it!
