Join us for 1st Monday @ City Arts Write Night & Open Stage, hosted by Florida Comedy Collective. Whether you’re shaping jokes, stories, or trying something new, this is a place to turn emotions into performance art.
6:30 PM – Florida Comedy Collective Writing Club - A guided, collaborative space to explore stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy, using real emotions, lived experiences, and honest thoughts as fuel for writing. All experience levels welcome. Local comedian and licensed mental health counselor Aimee LeCours will provide writing prompts and activities at each event.
7:30 PM – Florida Comedy Collective Open Stage - Share your voice and your point of view! Featuring stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy. Musicians, poets, and all performance artists also welcome to channel their creativity, emotions, and stories on stage. This time can be used to share what was written at the writing club or something brand new that you’re working on.
