Join us for Flora’s Walk 2026 in Fredericton as we come together to raise awareness and funds for perinatal mental health across Canada.
Flora’s Walk was created in honour of Flora Babakhani, whose death following undiagnosed postpartum psychosis brought national attention to the urgent need for better mental health care for new parents. Her story is a powerful reminder that perinatal mental health matters and that no family should face these challenges alone.
This Fredericton walk is hosted by Rebekah Duval and Jaimee Folkins, owners and therapists at Rebekah Duval Counselling and Balanced Beginning Counselling. As mothers and clinicians with lived and professional experience in perinatal mental health, we are deeply committed to reducing stigma and increasing access to care. We believe that when mothers are healthy, families are healthy.
All funds raised will directly support perinatal mental health services and advocacy efforts, helping ensure parents have access to the care, education, and resources they deserve.
Bring your family, invite a friend, and walk with us as we create meaningful change for parents in our community and across Canada.
