In this hands-on make-and-take workshop you’ll design and craft your own fascinator headband — perfect for fun and whimsy while also adding a touch of elegance to any special occasion.
All materials will be provided and no prior experience is necessary. Associate Artist Patricia Isenhour will guide this free workshop and you’ll be sure to leave with a custom creation that reflects your unique style!
We'll have a selection of materials available including: flowers, feathers, fabric headbands, decorative elements, glue guns, and tools.
Join us for a fun and creative session, and walk away with a head-turning fascinator!
This workshop is free and open to the public, but your RSVP gives us an idea on what to expect! We accept walk-ins and RSVPs, but all spaces are first come, first served - an RSVP does not guarantee your space. Please arrive on time.
With help from the City of Norfolk and their Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Grant, the d'Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather information required by the grant to meet our goal in Connecting the Community with the Visual Arts. Before the activity begins, attendees will be asked to fill out a Participation Card that includes questions such as age range, zip code, etc.
