Join this 50-minute floorwork class exploring movement close to the ground. We’ll focus on grounding, strength, and flow, developing ease and fluidity in transitions in and out of the floor. The class builds heat, flexibility, and body awareness, supporting a more responsive and connected way of moving.
While this is a separate class, it connects nicely to the Contact Improvisation in-depth session starting at 19:45.

Instructor: David Middendorp
David trained at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and later at Codarts in Rotterdam, with a study period at The Juilliard School in New York. He danced with Introdans, Saarländisches Staatsballett, and Ballet Theater Munich before founding his own company, Another Kind of Blue.
Known for combining dance and technology, his work explores the dialogue between body and innovation. In pieces like Flyland, his choreography makes strong use of floor technique, merging grounded movement with fluid transitions and dynamic flow. In this warm-up, David shares the same physical approach — connecting strength, softness, and awareness through movement close to the floor.
Limited to 12 participants.
