Flock Together Festival returns to historic Ridgewood Ranch in Willits, CA on April 25, 2026, transforming a working ranch into a dynamic celebration of sheep and agrarian culture. From all-day sheep shearing and fiber arts to grain milled into fresh pancakes, sheep dogs at work, lambs in the grass, horse and equipment parades, live music, and communal ranch lunch, the Flock Together Festival offers rare, hands-on access to agrarian life in motion. The festival takes place at Ridgewood Ranch’s historic Dairy Barn Complex in Willits, CA, featuring the Seabiscuit-era Mare Barn and the 1960s Hay Barn and Dairy Parlor. Guests walk past the historic Stud Barn on the way out to the festival grounds, where they are greeted by the most massive and beautiful Bay Tree we have ever seen. These active agricultural spaces are transformed into vibrant hubs of learning, work, and celebration.
Founded in 2025, Flock Together Festival was created as a call back to the rich culture around shearing day on the ranch being a cause for community gathering and celebration. While sheep shearing is the central active work of the day, all of the agricultural operations of the ranch show up to participate and foster connection between farmers, ranchers, and the wider community. Rooted in the belief that many hands make light work, the festival emphasizes participation, curiosity, and joy.
