FLOAT 2026 - Community Art Event

FLOAT with us into 2026 at in East Stroudsburg, PA.
Follow the lane through the woods, hang your coat, say hi to Luna the dog, and settle in with a warm drink and a bite surrounded by sculpture, art, and community in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

This is our 6th FLOAT, marking one full year of gathering to celebrate creativity, connection, and presence. What began as a small experiment has become a home for artists, friends, and anyone seeking good music and good vibes.

Headlining this FLOAT is SPIDERHORSE — world champion beatbox duo (seriously, don’t sleep on this one).

Expect: a group meditation, immersive performances, and an open mic.
Doors open at 2:00 PM; we’ll begin promptly at 2:30 PM.

Light snacks and refreshments provided (contributions welcome!).
Family-friendly - Kids are free but must be supervised.

Seating is limited. Bring a yoga mat, cushion, or chair to make yourself comfortable.

Info: Katie Calcaterra is a meditation teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage whose work explores how perception shapes reality. Through guided practice, she helps others see how the mind creates the world we live in, and how awareness, compassion, and intention can transform it.

Info: FLOAT is an indie-pop band by husband-and-wife duo Kurt and Katie Calcaterra, blending nostalgic 90s grooves with soulful melodies and meditative undertones. Inspired by dancing barefoot to 112, No Doubt, and Soul Train reruns, they create music that celebrates connection, presence, and the joy of being alive.

Info: Michelle is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter with over 20 years of studio experience, known for her captivating performances that invite listeners to feel deeply with her. Her dynamic range and soulful tone, spanning pop, rock, and R&B, bring depth, authenticity, and a sound and lyrics that stay with you.

Info: Based out of New York City, SPIDERHORSE is an award winning beatbox duo comprised of Chris Celiz and Gene Shinozaki. They have been creating music for eight years together and expanding the capabilities of the human voice in the most innovative and exciting way.
