This November, SUPER-HORROR-RAMA! returns to Sideshow Gelato in Lincoln Square for weekly gatherings with the spooky side of your chosen family! Chat about all things horror with the weirdos you bring and the new ones you meet, enjoy live synthwave, darkwave, and post-punk spun by DJ Pexcie, feast on sideshow-inspired gelato (10% discount for attendees), and enjoy a cornucopia of feathery fright flicks that chow down on the real monsters—humans!
Every night includes a Social Hour with live music spun by DJ Pexcie, a Surprise Short Feature in keeping with the theme of Thanksgiving, killer Giveaways donated by House of Monsters and The Shadowboxery for the first folks who answer our trivia questions correctly, and a brand new Video Intro by Drive-In Asylum, a fanzine exploring classic eras of horror, sci-fi, cult, and exploitation films through vintage newsprint ads!

THE FILMS
THE GIANT CLAW is an American kaiju drive-in flick about a giant space turkey rendered in unintentionally adorable puppetry! BLOOD FREAK is a grindhouse cautionary tale about someone with a drug addiction who mutates into a humanoid turkey that craves the blood of fellow addicts! POULTRYGEIST: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD is a musical comedy splatter film from legendary DIY film studio Troma about a fast food joint attacked by zombie chickens that are sick of being human fodder!

All four of these screenings will be at Sideshow Gelato, located at 4819 N Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60625. Take the Brown Line to Western and walk 3 min to Sideshow Gelato; or, take the 81 Bus to Lawrence & Western, and walk 1 min to Sideshow Gelato.
