About this Event
Flip, Flip, Flip-a-delphia returns to Center City, Philadelphia on Saturday, April 27th, as we come together to work, play, and flip off cancer.
This pre-COVID event has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Wicked Wolf is excited to bring back this event, inspired by the beloved TV show Always Sunny in Philadelphia!
From 4 PM to 8 PM, come and compete in FLIPadelphia, a flip cup tournament. Your ticket includes entry to the event, along with access to an open bar from 4 PM to 8 PM, featuring seltzers, draft beer, spiked lemonade, soda, and snacks!
RULES:
- Teams face off with five cups each.
- If a team has four players, the first "flipper" will also flip last.
- Each cup will be filled to the first line of the plastic cup, similar to pong.
- The game will start with a "cheers, down, drink" (tap cups, tap the table, and then drink).
- Finish your drink before flipping.
- You can set your cup with two hands but only flip with one.
- The next player cannot touch their cup until the previous player's cup has been successfully flipped.
- No backboards.
- HAVE FUN!!!
Registration starts at $45 per person for teams of 4-5.
The day will operate on a double-elimination bracket. What does that mean?
In this type of competition, participants need to lose twice before they are eliminated. The bracket consists of two brackets: a winners (W) bracket and a losers (L) bracket. This means there are two brackets to track in order to determine the eventual winner of the final round.
PRIZES INCLUDE:
- GRAND PRIZE: Winner of the double-elimination bracket
- FIRST PRIZE: Winner of the winners bracket
- SECOND PRIZE: Winner of the losers bracket
- BEST TEAM NAME: Pretty self-explanatory
SOME NOTES: When we say "drink," we mean drink any liquid you desire! As a responsible event, water will be provided on all tables for your playing needs.
This event is for ages 21+. Ticket and door sale proceeds, as well as all raffle proceeds, will be donated to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
