Juneteenth Celebration at the Flint Cultural CenterSaturday, June 20, 2026 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Longway Planetarium Greenspace | 1310 E. Kearsley St. Flint, MI 48503
Partnering for our fifth year with the Flint Cultural Center to bring blackness throughout the Flint Cultural Center campus, including: Flint Institute of Arts, Gloria Cole Flint Public Library, Flint Institute of Music, Sloan Museum of Discovery, Longway Planetarium, and Whaley Historical House.
The traditional Freedom March will start at noon to provide spiritual coverage - led by Hamady High School Marching Band. Other festivities include live music featuring Mama Sol, bounce houses and hands-on activities for children, food trucks, and plenty of vendors to shop from. Come join the fun! All future black artists, musicians, actors, and dancers are especially invited!
