About this Event

Flight of the Dragonfly | An Ecstatic Dance Journey

As spring comes to full bloom, we gather together for an evening of stepping into our individual and collective power, inviting in the wisdom of the dragonfly. Come embrace your boldness and unapologetic expression of self. How can you spread your wings and fly? How can you embody the fierceness of the dragonfly? Flight of the Dragonfly is an ecstatic dance journey for those ready to harness the energy and momentum of spring's warmth and abundance to embody their truest, wildest selves.

We'll start our evening together gathering in circle to feel into central themes for the dance and open our hearts to learning from the wisdom of our bodies. We will then play movement games to practice consent and wiggle and giggle out any nerves going into the night. As we begin our dance journey, the music will guide us through a flight of embodying our authenticity, inviting in connection, silliness, movement, playfulness, and radical expression of self. Come exactly as you are.

We will end our night together in a heart-sharing circle. This sharing circle is a place for reflection, integration, and witnessing. Everything shared in circle stays in circle. No judgment allowed.

This is a space to express the fullness of your human BEING. Come as you are. We cannot wait to dance with you!

Come dance. Come step into your boldness. Come celebrate your gifts in community.

How can you spread your wings and fly?

Community Guidelines

  • Come Sober, Be Present: This is a drug and alcohol-free environment. Please arrive sober and honor the space.
  • Device-Free Zone: No cell phone use or recording. Be fully present in the moment.
  • Practice Consent: Always check-in before dancing with others. Respect personal boundaries. Consent is an on-going conversation, so a "yes" in one moment could become a "no" in a new moment.
  • Honor the Dance Floor: Keep conversation off the floor. Save intimate talks for the sides so everyone can move freely.
  • Celebrate Each Other: This is a judgment-free space. Cheer, support, and honor everyone’s unique expression.
  • Care for Yourself and Each Other: Listen to your body, drink water, take breaks when you need, and look out for one another.
