- Biography ------
Eunhwa Rachel Lee has graced international stages and musical events worldwide with her unparalleled artistry. An award-winning pianist, Lee has garnered top honors in numerous international competitions, including the Vancouver International Competition and Metropolitan International Competition, Concert Artist International Competition, New York Assembly Gershwin International Competition, Texas State International Competition, New Hampshire International Competition, and Brahms Piano Competition. She has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Chicago Symphony Center, LA Zipper Hall, Cincinnati Memorial Hall, Aronoff Center, Montréal Cathedral, Vienna Yamaha Hall, Prague Palace, and Seoul Arts Center, among many others. Lee has appeared as a soloist with the Central Texas Philharmonic, Texas Round Rock Symphony, Civic Symphony Orchestra of Utah, and CCM Chamber Orchestra in the United States; Gangnam Symphony Orchestra and Sejong Philharmonic in South Korea.
As an active chamber musician and collaborative pianist, she frequently partners with various artists and directors at music festivals and concerts across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Her passion for music extends to education, awareness, and preservation, having proudly served as an Ensemble-in-Residence at the University of Cincinnati and as a faculty/pianist at Northern Kentucky University, Mount St. Joseph University, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Women’s Choir, and Cincinnati Youth Choir. Most recently, she was honored with the Steinway Top Teachers Award.
Lee is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Indiana University Bloomington, and Seoul National University. Residing in Cincinnati, she enjoys cultivating a lush garden and creating new dishes in the kitchen to share with friends in her spare time.
