Margar fjölskyldur hafa það fyrir sið að fara í sund á sunnudögum en nú gefst þeim tækifæri til að breyta svolítið til og skella sér í hljóðbað í Hörpu!
Sunnudaginn 1. febrúar kl. 12:00–14:00 býður Fjölskyldudagskrá Hörpu í samvinnu við Myrka músíkdaga upp á opna tónlistarsmiðju fyrir börn og fjölskyldur. Þar fá börn og fullorðnir tækifæri til að baða sig í tónlist, leika sér með hljóð og tóna og prófa fjölbreyttar leiðir til að skapa og upplifa hljóð – allt á sínum eigin forsendum.
Á staðnum verður Þykjó með spennandi hljóðfærasmiðju þar sem gestir geta búið til eigin hljóðfæri. Vala Gestsdóttir, tónlistarkona og tónheilari, býður upp á hljóðbað með gongi og kristalskálum sem bæði er hægt að hlusta á og prófa. Steinunn Eldflaug opnar dyr að töfraheimi raftónlistarinnar og kynnir ýmsar græjur sem gestir mega skoða og leika sér með.
Hljóðbað er fyrir alla fjölskylduna og gestir mega koma og fara á meðan á viðburðinum stendur, eins og hverjum og einum hentar. Hér fá fjölskyldur að upplifa, kanna og prófa tónlist og hljóð á eigin forsendum í öruggu og skapandi umhverfi.

Many families have a Sunday tradition of going swimming, but now there's a chance to switch things up and take a sound bath at Harpa instead!
On Sunday, February 1st from 12:00 to 14:00, Harpa’s Family Program, in collaboration with the Dark Music Days festival, offers an open music workshop for children and families. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in music, play with sound and tone, and create their own instruments. The workshop is open to all families, and guests are welcome to come and go as it suits them.
Þykjó will host an exciting instrument-making workshop where visitors can create their own musical instruments. Vala Gestsdóttir, a musician and sound healer, will offer a sound bath with gongs and crystal bowls, which guests can both listen to and try themselves. Steinunn Eldflaug opens the door to the magical world of electronic music and introduces various devices that visitors are welcome to explore and play with.
The sound bath is for the whole family, and guests are free to come and go during the event as it suits them. Families are invited to experience, explore, and experiment with music and sound on their own terms in a safe and creative environment.
