The FIU Jazz Big Band delivers high-energy performances that celebrate the rich traditions and forward-thinking spirit of big band jazz. Led by Dr. Aldo Salvent, the ensemble performs classic swing charts, modern jazz compositions, and original works. Featuring some of FIU’s most talented jazz instrumentalists, these concerts are a showcase of precision, improvisation, and deep groove.
