About this Event
This FREE event will aim it's focus on health and fitness, targeting the BIPOC community. An assortment of fitness classes will be hosted ranging from yoga, dance fitness, HIIT and more. BIPOC owned businesses from all industries will be present. Our efforts intend to promote, encourage, and inspire active lifestyles in the BIPOC community this summer. Fit Melanin Summer is also geared towards highlighting these business to not only offer support, but to provide and create network opportunities amongst the vendors/businesses.
Our event will also include music, food, performances, art activities and field games.
What to wear: Activewear
What to bring: Good energy and a yoga mat if you have one! We will have some yoga mats available.
Following our event will be the Summer Bash being put on at Stewart Heights Park which starts at 6pm and will feature an outdoor movie that will start at dusk!
