Somewhere between a dockside jazz lounge, a surf shack at sunset, and a fever dream fueled by vintage rum and bad navigation… you’ll find Fisherman Tiki Band. And on June 19th… they’re docking at Pele Utu.
Led by Brian “Fisherman” Lease—master vibraphonist, exotica wanderer, and veteran of the psychedelic punk underground—the band drifts effortlessly between lush tropical lounge, surf-rock swagger, vintage jazz cool, and island rhythm strange enough to make your drink taste stronger.
Alongside him is Bridget “Birdie the Tiki Girl” McCracken, bringing percussion, rhythm, and enough tropical spirit to steer the whole ship straight into dangerous waters.
This ain’t background music.
This is vibraphone echoing through lantern light. Jungle rhythms bouncing off bamboo walls. Mid-century exotica the way it was meant to be heard—live, loud, and preferably holding something with rum in it.
From Burlesque Hall of Fame stages to tiki festivals across the globe, Fisherman Tiki Band has spent years building the perfect soundtrack for beautiful trouble.
June 19th. 8PM.
Strong drinks. Strange rhythms. Tropical escapism in its purest form.
You can resist if you want…
But the tide’s usually stronger.
