About Fish Creek Camp
Fish Creek Camp is a nature‑based summer day camp hosted by the Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society. Campers spend their week exploring the park through hands‑on discovery, outdoor play, and meaningful connection with nature.
Our camp follows Alberta Camping Association standards for safety, programming, and staff training.

Ages: 6 - 12 at the time of camp
Length: Week-long summer day camps; Monday - Friday (except statutory holidays)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Extended Hours: 8:30–9:00 AM & 4:00–4:30 PM (Add‑On for $50/week)
Location: Fish Creek Environmental Learning Centre (Shannon Terrace Day Use Area)
How to Register
- Choose the week you want.
Select the start date of the week — this registers your child for the full week. - Add Extended Hours (optional).
On the Tickets page, choose the Early Drop‑Off / Late Pick‑Up Add‑On.
One add‑on covers the entire week. - Watch for an email from our Camp Coordinator.
You’ll receive the Camper Form, Parent Handbook, and packing details.

What Campers Can Expect
Daily Outdoor Exploration
Creek walks, forest adventures, grassland discoveries with nature is our classroom.
Theme‑Based Days
Weekly themes like beavers, watersheds, and native plants help campers connect what they learn.
Hands‑On Learning
Birdwatching, plant ID, tracking wildlife signs, and nature investigations.
Creative Time
Journaling, sketching, crafting, and quiet reflection outdoors.
Stewardship Activities
Citizen science, invasive species removal, and habitat care. Small actions with big impact!
A Supportive Environment
Small groups, trained leaders, and an inclusive approach help every camper feel confident and cared for.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Full refund minus 20% administrative fee if cancelled 14+ days before start date
- 50% refund minus 20% administrative fee if cancelled 7–13 days before
- No refunds for cancellations less than 7 days before
- No refunds or make‑up days for missed days, withdrawal, or weather‑related changes
