Avoid Election Day madness, and meet new friends, and catch up with old ones. Vote early, either Saturday morning at the Board of Elections at the courthouse, or on one of the days before, and come down to The Landing on Second Street to meet others from the First Ward. We've previously discussed the US Surgeon General's 2023 report on social isolation and loneliness, and thought a meetup of First Ward residents is an excuse to renew existing connections and make new ones. Stop by The Landing between 8am and 11:30am to enjoy great coffee and great company.
