About this Event
Owning a home is exciting—but also a little overwhelming when you realize you have no idea what anything in the house does. What’s that box in the basement? Why is there a tube sticking out of the wall? And what on earth is a radon mitigation system?
Join us for a fun, women-only evening designed to help you actually understand the home you're buying (or just bought). We’ll walk through a real house (shoutout to our contractor for opening up her home!) and break down the basics in a way that makes sense—even if you've never laid eyes on a water heater before.
We’ll walk through a real home and cover:
- What shows up on a home inspection report and what it means
- Ballpark costs for fixing common issues
- Understanding electrical panels, water heaters, furnaces, structural issues, radon systems, plumbing systems, window issues, and more
And because no one should have to talk about HVAC without bubbles, we’ll be sipping champagne while we learn.
Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your girlfriends. You’ll leave with practical knowledge, real-world tips, and the confidence to actually read that inspection report without panic.
