Overview

In this webinar, we’ll explore how to integrate the free version of ChatGPT with Excel to supercharge your data workflows. You'll learn how to organize your data for optimal AI assistance, debug complex formulas, and create impactful visualizations with AI-guided insights. We’ll cover best practices for data privacy and responsible AI usage, while showcasing real-world examples of ChatGPT in action.


By the end of this free online training you'll be able to:


  • Organize and structure data to enhance AI assistance and maximize ChatGPT’s effectiveness
  • Follow best practices for data privacy and use AI responsibly with Excel
  • Clearly define objectives and frame problems for AI-driven solutions
  • Use ChatGPT to debug complex formulas and improve efficiency
  • Leverage AI for creating impactful visualizations and deeper data insights
  • Explore real-world examples of ChatGPT improving Excel workflows with hands-on demonstrations



Prerequisites

Due to the "modern" nature of the tools we are using, it is recommended to attend this workshop with a desktop version of Excel 365 for Windows. I cannot guarantee availability of these features for all versions of Excel.


  • To maximize your experience in this workshop, it's beneficial to have a working knowledge of Excel, including concepts such as IF() statements, relative and absolute cell references, and lookup functions like VLOOKUP() or XLOOKUP(). Familiarity with summarizing and visualizing data using PivotTables and PivotCharts is also recommended.
  • No other preparation is needed. The workshop materials will be shared with you at the time of the event.



About your instructor

George Mount is the founder of Stringfest Analytics. He has over 10 years of experience in data analytics and holds master’s degrees in both finance and information systems from Case Western Reserve University. George is the author of (O’Reilly, 2021) and (O'Reilly, 2024), as well as two popular courses on LinkedIn Learning about AI for Excel.
