First Moon Ceremony

Welcome to the First Moon Ceremony!

for tweens( maturing girls around the pre-menstruation to menstruation age)

& their support person(mom, dad, aunt, etc)

This powerful experience will instill confidence in a girl’s journey towards womanhood. Together we will remove societal shame around periods, create connections with caregivers and other youths, and embody the emotional bandwidth necessary for the liminal spaces of the tween years and beyond.

The flow of this experience will be:

~ welcome & introductions

~ flower crafting & storytime

~ ritual of letting go to grow

~ shared song

~ presentation of gift & tea with chocolate

Participants will take home a toolkit for the coming years including

~a community of like-minded gals

~an empowered sense of calm and excitement at what's to come

~a list of extra resources for this transitional time

~a gift bag
