Monday Swing is a weekly vintage swing dance practicum and social dance in a cozy SE PDX setting. Now featuring First Monday Jam Sessions! For dancers: $15 cash/Venmo at the door
For musicians not dancing: no cover

7:00-7:30 DJ Music
7:30-9:30: Jazz Jam
9:30-10:00: DJ Music

>THE JAM<
The jazz jam is open to everyone and highlights swing-era jazz. If you're a musician and you'd like to participate, bring your instrument! There is no cover for musicians who are not dancing.
There's a piano on site and fake books will be provided.

>THE PRACTICUM & DANCE<
Think of practicum as a social dance with relaxed etiquette. Ask for help, offer advice, work on a project, or just social dance like usual.
After the jam, we DJ music just like a regular social dance.

Experienced dancers and local teachers are available at practicum to help out with sticky spots.
