First Lego League (FLL) is a global robotics program that introduces kids ages 5-13 to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through hands-on learning and guided challenges using LEGO technology. FLL aims to inspire youth to explore STEM, develop critical thinking, coding, and design skills, and foster teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Teams of 4-6 students will be created in the Challenge (ages 10-13) or Explore (ages 5-9) divisions for weekly meetings on Mondays in the fall.
Optional competition and showcase opportunities will be available at an additional cost outside of the regular meetings. The program will meet at the Gauntlett Community Center on Mondays from Sep. 15-Dec. 1.
