About this Event
Join the First Lego League at Camden Town Library @ The Crowndale Centre.
This free six-week course running from is for children aged 7-11 and sign up is essential. Last session on the last week of term.
This year’s theme is SuperPowered! The children will explore the entire energy journey. Where energy comes from to how energy is used and all the steps in between. They will discover different energy sources and energy consumers. They will identify energy problems in their own community
This fantastic non-competitive program encourages children to investigate a real-world theme, develop teamwork, design, and programming skills. It is a fun course for children who are interested in improving their STEM skills to create Lego models and learn basic robotics programming in a fun setting and work together to create a ‘Show Me’ poster.
We are looking to have 2 teams of 6 children per session of up who will work together to solve the fundamentals of engineering and explore real-world problems, learn to design, code, and create unique solutions.
Parents/carers do need to stay during these sessions which are run by library staff.
