First Inversion’s performance of Planet Home will be joined by Scivias Medieval Ensemble on Sunday, March 22!Join us in celebrating the earth’s beauty through song in a vivid soundscape, with the works of three local composers (Michael Brown, Karen Goldfeder and Glenn McClure) being featured.
Jake Runestad’s “Come to the Woods” (last performed by First Inversion in 2018) features a rhapsodic and improvisatory piano part that intertwines with magical choral sonorities and a call to find rest in nature by John Muir.
