First Inversion’s next concert starts with a performance on Friday, March 20 alongside the Mount Hope World Singers!Join us in celebrating the earth’s beauty through song in a vivid soundscape, with the works of three local composers (Michael Brown, Karen Goldfeder and Glenn McClure) being featured.
Jake Runestad’s “Come to the Woods” (last performed by First Inversion in 2018) features a rhapsodic and improvisatory piano part that intertwines with magical choral sonorities and a call to find rest in nature by John Muir.
First Inversion is proud to announce that we are Artists In Residence with Arts Link at Downtown Presbyterian Church, partnering in ministry to build Beloved Community.
