7:30 - A surprise "pop-up" poet will begin the evening. Then, our featured poet, Kendra Preston Leonard, will read.
8:00 - As always, we’ll end the evening with Houston’s longest-running open mic featuring some of Houston's best poetry!
So, bring some friends and your poems (if you wish) to Inprint House to support and participate in Houston's longest-running poetry series!

Kendra Preston Leonard writes about music, movies, gorgons, werewolves, Shakespeare, feminism, nature, ghosts, disability, drama, race, paleontology, and much more. Leonard is the award-winning author of three poetry collections, A Registry of Omens (Red Ogre Review, 2024); Grab (Red Ogre Review, 2023); and Making Mythology (Louisiana Literature Press, 2020); and a novella in verse, Protectress (Unsolicited Press, 2022).
