First Friday Movement Night is a phone-free space to move without choreography, conversation, or performance. This Ecstatic Dance experience is designed to support grounded, embodied movement in a safe and intentional container.We begin together. We end together. In between, you follow your body.
No choreography. No talking on the dance floor. No phones. no shoes (unless medically necessary)
You don’t have to be good at dancing. You just have to be willing to move.
We gather on the first Friday of each month at EneRay.
Tenets of Ecstatic Dance:
✨ The dance floor is a sacred space – no outside shoes (unless medically necessary)
✨ No talking – express with your body
✨ Be present – phones and cameras off
✨ Stay clear – no intoxicants
✨ Dance alone or with others (with consent)
✨ No judgment – move as wildly or as freely as you like
To help us prepare the container intentionally, early registration is encouraged.
