• Friday, Nov 7: Artist Reception featuring Amanda Maxwell, Megan Berry & Marilyn Jacobi Bealafeld • Saturday, Nov 8: Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting + Open House + Exhibition Opening R2
Location: Rovang Ceramics, 2020 Contractors Rd Unit 1, Sedona, AZ 86336
Rovang Ceramics celebrates a milestone in Sedona’s creative landscape with the unveiling of its new clay distribution extension, a resource designed to support and inspire artists throughout Northern Arizona. The launch coincides with a Grand Opening Weekend (November 7–9) filled with art, community, and hands-on connection to the studio’s medium of focus.
On Friday, November 7, the gallery comes alive with an opening reception for the community featuring the work of ceramic artist Megan Berry, sculpture Amanda Maxwell and painter Marilyn Jacobi Bealafeld, three Sedona artists whose practices are deeply rooted in the landscape that surrounds them. Berry’s hand-built vessels echo the organic shapes and rhythms of the red rocks, while Bealafed’s impressionistic paintings capture the shifting light and color of Sedona’s trails and mountains and Maxwell’s combination of the organic and abstract.
The weekend continues Saturday, November 8, with an artist talk exploring inspiration, process, and the creative dialogue between material and maker. The celebration culminates Sunday, November 9, with a community workshop, a fun opportunity for participants to more deeply connect to the artistic process.
