Kay Munson: Landmarks of Dubuque
This April, join us at Planted. for a special First Fridays exhibition featuring mixed media paintings and photographs celebrating Dubuque’s iconic landmarks. This collection blends photography with acrylic painting techniques, creating layered works that reimagine familiar places through texture, color, and the artistic interpretation of artist Kay Munson.
The show will feature at least 20 finished, framed pieces ranging in price from $80–$250. A highlight of the exhibition is a new series of Vintage Dubuque Landmark photographs printed on canvas and enhanced with acrylic mediums, giving historic views of the city a fresh, painterly dimension.
