Join us for February’s First Friday Art Trail at the Caetani Centre, featuring gallery artist Suzy King and studio artists Jude Clarke and John Lent. Drop in to experience installation, hands-on making, painting, and poetry.
Caetani Gallery | Suzy King — Inner Thread
Inner Thread is an immersive installation by Okanagan-based interdisciplinary artist Suzy King, blending soft textile forms, familiar objects, video, and sound. The work invites viewers to sit with cycles of unravelling and repair, letting go, and transformation.
WORKSHOP during First Friday:
🧶 Soft Inside: making textile forms 🧶
Make-your-own sculpture during the final days of Inner Thread!
Join Suzy in the gallery to create a small soft sculpture using recycled textiles. Forms are loosely inspired by organs and interior body shapes—playful, abstract, and not literal. You’ll cut, shape, and stuff your piece; sewing help provided if needed. Finished pieces will be approximately 5–10 inches.
All ages and abilities welcome
Participants are welcome to view the exhibition while they’re here
Cost: $15–30 sliding scale (pay what you can)

Ninfa Studio | Jude Clarke & John Lent
Visitors are also welcome to stop by the Ninfa Studio, where artists Jude Clarke and John Lent continue their painting and writing collaboration.
Clarke will present a powerful new painting reflecting her lived experience of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, alongside approximately eight additional works. She has painted and studied art since the age of six.
Poet John Lent shares four new poems, including the long work Driving Down The Long Dark Snow Into This Blue Midnight Mass, and NINFA 1, inspired by watching Clarke’s process in the studio.
