Lubeznik Center for the Arts (LCA) is excited to partner with NWI Food Council for a special FREE First Friday on October3 from 5-8 PM with a presentation at 6 PM (Central).
Celebrate the season with a market-style showcase of fresh fall harvests, featuring fruits, vegetables and more from local growers. At 6 PM, hear from the NWI Food Council as they share their FarmHer to Mama program. This initiative connects female farmers, nurses, nutritionists and first-time mothers who are working together to strengthen food security and build a more resilient local food system.
New local artist exhibits will be on view in LCA’s NIPSCO Art Education Studios throughout October, featuring photography by Area Artists Association member Timothy D. Lace and Young Artist Expo participant Kenyon Ploehn.
