Wednesday 03/25 Moontown Sound will host our first ever Spaceslam, a musical poetry slam! Hosted by Matt Baker and the Moontown Jam Squad! Poets and rhyme sayers, this is a non standard slam, and we welcome you all to come explore the new dimensions collaborating with wonderful musicians brings to your work!
-Entry is $5 and goes towards the pot
-Signups start at 6pm, with 16 slots. First come first served.
-Non-standard slam. Judging will be scored based on 3 criteria, performance (crowd response,) creativity and integration with the musical accompaniment.
-Every poet must perform to musical accompaniment.
-Every poet gets two rounds, and a final round for the 4 finalists.
-Come prepared with 3 total pieces.
