Norcross Porchfest is a free, community-driven music festival where local artists and musicians perform throughout Historic Norcross, Georgia. Neighbors and visitors stroll from house to house, enjoying diverse live music in a family-friendly atmosphere. Artists perform on porches and in front yards of designated homes in the festival zone, centered around Thrasher Park in Historic Norcross. Norcross Porchfest, scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, will be the inaugural event.
Admission is free, with no tickets required, thanks to support from sponsors and community donors. Our fundamental goal is to showcase local talent and build community in Norcross. Musicians, home hosts, and organizers all participate as volunteers without formal compensation (though tips for performers are encouraged). Porchfest will feature not only music, but also food trucks, art vendors, local businesses and activities, making it a full-day neighborhood celebration for all ages. The festival will run in the afternoon from 12:00PM to 6:00PM.
Attendees can move at their own pace between performances; there is no single main stage. Instead, multiple homes in the Historic Norcross area will host simultaneous performances. Streets in the core festival zone may be temporarily closed to through-traffic for safety, creating a walkable environment. The event will proceed rain or shine, barring severe weather, with contingency plans for moving performances indoors or under cover if needed.
