Mark your calendars, Sunday, October 19th, 2025, from 2-6 pm will be the First Annual New Castle Craft Beer & Spirits Chili Showdown at New Castle Union Station Craft Distillery, co-hosted by Neshannock Creek Brewing.
This is history in the making, you are going to want to tell your grandkids and their grandkids. In the annals of history, people are going to be talking about three things: the discovery of fire, the invention of the submarine, and the First Annual New Castle Craft Beer & Spirits Chili Showdown. The trophy is 12 feet high and it is glorious. Ok, maybe not 12 feet, slightly smaller, but winning the First Annual New Castle Craft Beer & Spirits Chili Showdown will be glorious and you could have bragging rights for a lifetime as well as some prizes. Contestants must bring at least four quarts of his/her chili, a write up with chili name, ingredient list, and note it mild, medium or hot. Ingredient list and temperature is for those tasters that may have a heat or food sensitivity. Contestants must be set up and ready to serve by 1:45pm.

Participants entering chili are free. $5 Entry fee for tasting and voting. We are looking for Vendors as well, $20 fee.
