First Aid Training - Intermediate Certification

This course booking is intended to meet the needs of a variety of stakeholders.

Participants that attend both February 8th & 9th will receive Intermediate First Aid Certification.

Volunteer: $10 - due to registration no-shows we have been forced to add a fee for Volunteers (must provide a proof of volunteer efforts such as Volunteer Letter)

Community League Member: $45

Member of the public : $165

DAY 1 COURSE CONTENT

• Responding to an emergency

• Recognizing a mental health emergency

• CPR & AED for adults, children, and Infants

• Bleeding and burn management

• Medical emergencies

DAY 2 COURSE CONTENT

• Choking and breathing emergencies

• Mental health first aid

• Opioid overdose awareness

• Bone and joint injuries

• Environmental emergencies

ASSESSMENT

All participants take a written exam at the end of the course.
