This class is equivalent to the two-day course but is done half online on the student’s time and half in class with our instructor.
This comprehensive course is done in 2 stages, a 6-8 hour online portion that is completed at home at your own pace and must be done before attending the in-class portion. The 2nd portion is the classroom portion and is a hands-on skill assessment and refresher of the online portion.
This course meets all legislation requirements and the current CPR guidelines. In this course, you will learn infant, child, and adult choking, CPR, and AED skills.
Course Objectives
Provide the skills needed to deal with emergency injuries and illnesses at home, as a bystander and in the workplace as per industry standards.
Students will have the ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills
To help students recognize an emergency and have the knowledge and confidence to take action
Duration
6-8 hours online and one (1) day in class.
Certificate
All participants who successfully complete this program will receive a Red Cross Certificate of Completion emailed to you which is valid for (3) years.
