An engaging First Aid and CPR course that will equip you with life-saving skills. The hands-on approach and practical delivery will keep you engaged from start to finish. Learn the skills and knowledge necessary to provide a first aid response to a casualty, including:- How to recognise and assess an emergency situation
- How to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, infants and children
- How to manage first aid emergencies, such as anaphylaxis, snake bites, fractures, bleeding and more
- How to communicate effectively in an emergency
- The Legal requirements and psychological first aid for first responders
On completion of the course, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment with the following Nationally Recognised Units of Competency:
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
