◾️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! Parade of Wheels, a beloved tradition from our Olde Fashioned Fourth of July event, will be moved to Fireworks Frenzy to kick off the festivities. Parade riders will start on Hunter Street and roll down toward Mason Street to reach the Apex Fire Department's Splashdown along Mason Street.
◾️ Expanded drone light show that's unique to Apex
◾️ Food Trucks
◾️ Kids Zone with inflatables and games
◾️ Fireworks display
Schedule of Events
◾️ 4:00 pm: Parade of Wheels participants should begin lining bikes up along Hunter Street. Kids are invited to decorate bikes, wagons, tricycles, or other non-motorized vehicles in red, white, and blue.
◾️ 4:30 pm: The Apex Fire Department will host their Splashdown immediately follow the Parade! Bring a towel to dry off after.
◾️ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Food trucks and fun
◾️ 9:00 pm (tentatively, based on weather conditions): Drone light show begins
◾️ 9:20 pm: Break in programming to allow attendees with sensory sensitivities to exit the event or visit our sensory-friendly space at the Apex Senior Center
◾️ 9:30 pm (tentatively, based on weather conditions): Fireworks show begins
