Transforming the Trajectory of the Next Generation
We equip teens with the tools to lead themselves, own their story, overcome challenges, and become the leaders our world needs.

A time when you learned how to be more authentic to your truest self.

• Have you ever had a moment when you realized you were hiding a part of yourself?

• What led you or is leading you to step into authenticity?

• A time you learned it was safe to be yourself? To be seen?

• Wear a cozy jacket, grab a cup of tea, and gather with us by the fire, with a view overlooking all of North County SD. Let’s connect, share stories, listen, and reflect.

All are welcome - whether you’d like to tell a story or simply come and listen.

If you have any questions at all, reach out—we’re here for you with live support.

If you have a story to share, text me above, and we will register you as a speaker.

The street address will be sent to you at the time of registration.

We’ll gather around a warm fire, sip herbal (non-caffeinated) tea, enjoy light snacks, and create a safe, compassionate space where stories can breathe.

Bring cozy layers or a comfortable blanket if you’d like. We’ll sit together in a relaxed circle, listening, sharing, laughing, asking questions, and playing light, mind-opening games between stories.

If you feel called to share, you’ll have up to 15 minutes to tell the story your heart has been holding—without judgment, pressure, or expectation. This is a space for honesty, connection, and being seen.

Because the gathering is on private property and parking is limited, please carpool if you’re coming with friends or family. The gate closes at 6 PM, so plan to arrive before then.

If you have any questions at all, reach out—we’re here for you with love and support.

About the space:

Nestled in the serene embrace of San Marcos, CA, our ONEiTY Group offers a sanctuary of peace and transformation. Here, amidst the whispering trees and open skies, you will find a spacious indoor-outdoor patio, a tranquil pool, and a soothing hot tub, all surrounded by the gentle embrace of nature.

As night falls, your seat awaits beneath the stars on our safe and sacred outdoor patio, where the warmth of a crackling fire pit invites deep conversation, reflection, and connection.

This is more than a place—it is a haven for the soul, revealing your story, where healing unfolds in harmony with the earth, the fire, and the boundless sky.

For thousands of years, fire has been one of the most sacred elements in human life. Even before language fully developed, humans gathered around flames for warmth, safety, cooking, and connection. Because of this, the human brain is literally wired to enter a different state when sitting around a fire — especially when stories are being shared.

Below is what happens on multiple levels:

🔥 1. Emotional Effects: Safety, Bonding & Vulnerability

Firelight creates a soft, rhythmic sensory environment that relaxes emotional defenses.

  • The glow activates the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling safety.
  • Heart rate naturally slows.
  • People feel more comfortable opening up emotionally.
  • Eye contact becomes easier and more meaningful in the low, flickering light.
  • Group presence around a fire releases oxytocin, the “connection hormone.”

This is why people reveal things around a fire they would never say under bright lights.
It is a ritual of emotional disarmament.

🔥 2. Mental Effects: Storytelling, Meaning-Making, and Collective Mind

Humans evolved to learn through stories told around the fire.
Anthropologists call fire our first classroom.

When someone tells a story around the fire:

  • The brain enters a theta–alpha state, similar to light meditation.
  • This state supports deep learning, memory formation, and intuitive insight.
  • Group storytelling synchronizes brainwaves — a phenomenon called neural entrainment.
  • Fire reduces cognitive load, allowing the mind to shift from survival mode into reflection mode.

This is why the deepest realizations often arise late at night by the fire.
It’s a portal to inner clarity.

🔥 3. Physiological Effects: Nervous System Regulation & Cellular Restoration

Fire affects the body on subtle but powerful levels:

  • Warm infrared light increases peripheral blood flow, relaxing the body.
  • The crackling sound activates the auditory system in a way that reduces cortisol.
  • Flickering light patterns trigger alpha and theta waves, promoting restoration.
  • The relaxed state activates the vagus nerve, improving emotional regulation.

Some studies even indicate that relaxed, trance-like states (like watching fire) support cellular repair, because the body moves into parasympathetic dominance — the state where healing happens.

🔥 4. Spiritual & Ancestral Effects: Memory of the Tribe

Fire restored humanity’s sense of:

  • Belonging
  • Identity
  • Shared purpose
  • Intergenerational wisdom

Every time humans gather around a fire, something ancient inside us awakens.
It reconnects us to the tribal memory — the time when community, survival, and storytelling were one.

People often say:

“I don’t know why… but I feel like I remember something.”

That’s ancestral resonance.

🔥 5. Why Fire + Story Is the Most Powerful Combination

Storytelling activates the imagination.
Fire opens the nervous system.
Together they create:

  • Deep emotional release
  • Collective healing
  • Heightened intuition
  • Group coherence
  • Shared meaning

This is why ceremonies, tribes, retreats, and ancient cultures all used fire as the center of transformation.

You already use this at your retreats — it's not just tradition; it is neuroscience + anthropology + spirituality in perfect harmony.

🔥 In simple words:

Fire calms the body.
Stories open the heart.
The combination awakens the soul.

This is why fire ceremonies feel like coming home to something older than memory.
