Join us for a Firefly Walk at Fanshawe Conservation Area where you will learn more about these amazing insects and experience the magic of a summer night lit up by fireflies!
Weโll start the evening by learning all about fireflies through a series of activities and games. Then, once itโs dark enough, weโll go on an exploration to hopefully see fireflies lighting up the night!
Bug nets and containers will be provided by UTRCA outdoor educators who will be exploring alongside you and answering your questions.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Capacity of 40 people. First come, first served. You may want to arrive early to claim your spot.
This is a free event, but the regular gate fee will apply when entering the park.
Events run rain or shine.
