Hey gang, let’s do a firefly ruck! Oakland Nature Preserve stays open until 9pm on select nights for visitors to see the fireflies. We can ruck the boardwalk (2/3 mile each way) out to the lake and be surrounded by them on the way back 🤩 Feel free to bring the kids, family, friends. This is a popular event so parking often extends into the church next door and Oakland Ave. Plan to meet up near the entrance to the Preserve at 7:15 and head out on the boardwalk at 7:30 as the sun starts to set.
