Join Kristi, Reiki Master and RYT 200, for a short warm up and hydration for the physical body, before settling in for a 45 minute Yoga Nidra, bringing complete relaxation for mind, body, and spirit...the room will be heated to a cozy 103*+... so be sure to come hydrated and follow up with plenty of water.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation using a combination of techniques like rotation of awareness, progressive muscle relaxation, sensory awareness, breathwork, chakra balancing, mindfulness, guided imagination and visualization and more to promote balance within the whole being. Some benefits of Yoga Nidra include better sleep, enhanced memory, improved stress management, improved confidence and self-esteem, reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression, improved immune system to name a few! We will open and close our 90 minute class with journaling and reflection.
*Please consider bringing 1 or 2 bath/beach towels from home to place under hips, neck, low back for added comfort…blocks, bolsters, and hand sized towels are available. Yoga mats available to rent, $5
