Taking place at The Art Yard gallery in Cradley Heath, from 10am-5pm this is an adult needle felting workshop with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.
This workshop is aimed at adult (18+) that already have experience in needle felting and are looking to pick up new techniques or to step up and challenge themselves. Although this stylised horse is a bit more simplified than other equine workshop, this is not a suitable workshop for first time felters or complete beginners.... Have a look at my events page for beginners workshops if you are looking to start your needle felting journey... Snowy Owls in January are an excellent place to start.
There will be a selection of reds, yellows and oranges for you to use and make the horse your own, however, if you had a very specific colour scheme in mind, please let me know well in advance and i will do my best to accommodate you.
The base, hooves and lover legs will be pre-made for you so that you can concentrate on the felting element of the workhop.
All materials and tools are provided... though you are of course welcome to bring your own handle or felting mat if you have your own favourite. Tea and coffee will be available, but lunch is not included. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
